transforming a local hawaii-based surf brand into an e-commerce business with a commercial growth strategy

Based in Hawaii, BoobieShack is a lifestyle brand inspired by the carefree nature of the native booby bird and the stoke of surfing. Transcending traditional performance sports brands, BoobieShack trades competition and exclusivity for fun and collaboration. The designs celebrate the local Polynesian culture and tropical surroundings and each piece is crafted in the name of play, encouraging all to get outside regardless of the conditions or their skills. 

As President, I was brought on board to lead the decade-old brand through a digital transformation, launching an e-commerce store and social shopping. With the additional revenue generated from online sales, I am now spearheading a growth strategy, including revamping the supply chain, expanding product offerings, and securing a permanent retail location. I also lead business operations, including finance, legal, and talent.
