Emma commends the customer. Immersing herself in the communities she’ll connect with, she explores the purpose and significance of human intentions to reveal business opportunities. She believes impactful solutions are not designed, but discovered, discussed, and developed.
Pairing data with creativity, she has launched products, produced marketing campaigns, and lead strategic initiatives to address the biggest challenges and wildest ideas facing global organizations and startups. She has converted users into fans for a global technology platform and guests into loyalists for a $8B hospitality company. She has created both a doll and a drink. She has founded a fashion company and scaled a surf brand. Her focus on the customer allows her to work across categories and in distinct capacities, with the overarching goal of building meaningful connections to drive transformation and increase profitability.
Emma is currently the co-founder and CEO of TORSSO and President of BoobieShack. At both companies, she leads product development, brand strategy, and business operations. Prior to running two brands, she received her MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management. She also launched the strategy and research group at The Female Quotient, and began her career in trend forecasting and market research.
From inception to execution, she is experienced in product innovation, project management, brand strategy, lifecycle marketing, market research, and inclusive team building. She looks to collaborate with those audacious enough to disrupt the status quo and implement systems of change.
Emma is a former ski racer and an aspiring surfer. When she is not at her computer, on a mountain, or in the ocean, she is likely eating sourdough baguettes or making coil ceramic plates.
